For example, I'd do:

Also if you want to PM/send a message privately, do this.

Without brackets, of course.
For example, I'd do:
@Twilight Sparkle Hello!
It would show up in red only to me and Twilight Sparkle. If someone PMs you it shows up in red, for example:
Twilight Sparkle:Hi!
